Former Broadway exec forms Balance
Alan Cohen preps coaching and consulting co.

Alan Cohen, formerly the director of communications at the Broadway League, has formed a coaching and consulting company dubbed Acts of Balance, geared toward arts professionals.
Cohen, whose resume also includes stints at Scholastic and Rialto ad agency Serino Coyne, will offer coaching on a range of business issues — including planning, budgeting and management — as well as on personal concerns.
Cohen’s PR post at the League, the producers’ and presenters’ trade association, has been filled by Elisa Shevitz.
